Nutrition and Healing
Meals at Amaru Spirit are nutritious, and locally sourced. Our kitchen prepares primarily vegetarian food, with a focus on fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, and plant-based proteins. Local fish is offered periodically as an additional protein option for those who request it.
We serve three meals a day, prepared by our experienced local kitchen staff who cook with knowledge of regional ingredients and dietary practices. The food is lightly seasoned, easy to digest, and designed to support rest and balance.
Meals are served communally, creating a shared space for guests to eat together. For those who prefer solitude or are observing dieta, meals can also be brought directly to your tambo.
We respect individual dietary needs and make every effort to accommodate allergies, sensitivities, and preferences when communicated in advance or upon arrival. The kitchen team works closely with the retreat facilitators to ensure meals are appropriate and supportive for each guest.
